The kind of car you would expect to see in Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara – moorish and detached

Anthony Bourdain:

“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”

Santa Barbara has something for you ,whether you like hiking, fine-dining, water sports, lazing on the beach, culture, or a great night-life.

Santa Barbara is a town with a difference

Santa Barbara county is sometimes referred to as the American Riviera. Its beautiful beaches, majestic mountains, and colorful culture make Santa Barbara a premier resort destination.

Our choice of accomodation , Holiday Inn Express was excellent. It is situated right on the edge of the Old Town and just a short walk from Stearn’s Wharf; Santa Barbara’s famous pier, with its many restaurants and shopping facilities.

Not everybody enjoy themselves in Santa Barbara:

The whole town gives the impression of tranquillity and a laidback lifestyle. With its Moorish flair it’s a good place to relax.

The people of Santa Barbara are very innovative:

From the City, you are just minutes away from the Santa Barbara wine country. The gorgeous Santa Ynez Valley, with its breath-taking vistas, is home to such notable attractions as Solvang and the Chumash Reservation.

Tomorrow we leave Santa Barbara for Santa Monica
