Without a basic knowledge of the Cyrillic alphabet, a visit to Kiev (Kyjiv) or the Ukraine can be quite  a challenge.
There is a definite need for a guide !

A quick Google-search will produce a number of personal guides in and around Kiev.

Choosing one at random or by intuition led me to book time with Oksana Tsupko, a choice that could not have been better. (Though I shall have to concede that there may also have been other factors that led to this choice).

She will help with all desired arrangments in Kiev as well as all necessary preparations before             you leave home. She is highly competent and knowledgable as well as a very pleasant person                   to be with.

Oksana is HIGHLY RECOMENDED.
